Iris
Iris was the Greek mythology, goddess of Olympus. Belonged to the sequence of tasks messenger gods like those of Mercury.
The ancient Greeks imagined Iris just like depict today the archangels by the Christians: New rich in a short tunic, with large wings on his shoulders and golden winged sandals bearing the caduceus in his hand, like Mercury. It was like a fan and impetuous storm, known as loyal and fleet footed messenger of the gods.
Iris was the ideal fly anthropomorphic deity (allegorical) the concept of atmospheric phenomenon of the rainbow, to that end and close relationship with Hera (who are nothing more than an anagram of the word Air), goddess of wind and weather. The three petals of the iris plant is upright and is said to symbolize faith, valor and wisdom.
